Print Divisions
Members may enter up to two (2) digital images and prints in any number of divisions, accompanied by a completed entry form and $1 for each division entered.
All members start out in the Class A. The members with the highest total score in each class will advance to the next level at the end of the competition year. Members in Classes A and AA with the highest score at year-end will advance to the next class. There will be only 6 members in Class AAA. At the end of the year if the highest score in Class AA is higher than the lowest score in Class AAA, the members with those scores will exchange places.
You can learn more about submitting digital and print images on the SJVCCC website.

Formatting Digital Image Submissions for the SJVCCC as of 2014
The key thing to keep in mind is that images must be in a format compatible with the projector. The projector used by the SJVCCC is different than that of the Stockton Camera Club. The projector they use in the competition has a maximum resolution of 1400 x 1050 pixels--that's 1400 wide by 1050 high. This means that any photo that exceeds this size in either dimension could end-up being cropped by the projector. In other words, the image width cannot be more than 1400 pixels and the image height cannot be more than 1050 pixels.
- A resloution (PPI/DPI) of 72 or 100 is sufficient for the projector.
- When you save your images for competition, Save As as a .jpg or .jpeg
- The max file size is 1 MB.
- The maximum horizontal dimension is 1400 pixels.
The maximum vertical dimension is 1050 pixels.
THESE ARE NOT REVERSIBLE. - The color space must be either RGB or sRGB.

Naming the File for the SJVCCC Digital Competition as of 2014
The SJVCCC competition chairs will be sharing the duties of digital files, so they need a standard file naming system. File names need: Division (Pictorial, Nature, PJ or Travel), Class (A, AA, AAA), the order you want it shown, (1 or 2), your name, and the slide title. Exact naming details are below:
1. The first single letter is for the Division:
2. The second position is for Class--either A, AA, or AAA.
3. The third position is image number--either a 1 or 2. (1 for your first image and 2 for your second.)
So far it looks like this:
N_AAA_1 (Nature, triple A, image 1)
J_A_2 (Photojournalism, A, image 2)
P_AA_2 (Pictorial, AA, image 2)
4. Fourth comes your surname and if there's any possibility of someone else having the same surname, enough of your first name to make it unique. Examples: Dayton, Frazier, Hamby, CunninghamJ, CunninghamC, Bever, Mastin, Ward, JacobyW, JacobyR.
5. Finally, an underscore ( _ ) followed by the title of the image. The title of your image MUST match the title on your entry form.
Final examples:
